When you arrive, you will be greeted by one of our experienced Registered Veterinary Technicians who will perform an initial assessment to ensure the most critical patients are given priority. This is referred to as triage. This means that patients arriving after you may be seen first. We thank you in advance for your patience and understanding.
Next, one of our veterinarians will examine your pet and possibly ask further questions before they discuss their concerns and a tentative diagnostic and/or treatment plan. While many of these diagnostic tests are performed on-site, it will take some time before the results are available. This is an ideal time to pose any questions you may have. Our team wants to ensure you are comfortable with the diagnostic/treatment plan and the information we are providing.
Before proceeding with the agreed upon plan, you will be presented with a detailed estimate for our services. Our goal is to be fully transparent with respect to our fees and potential treatment costs. A deposit will be required prior to proceeding with diagnostic/treatment plan.
Our veterinarian will discuss diagnostic results and/or the necessary home care instructions prior to sending your pet home with you and our front desk team will process any remaining fees. Finally, one of our experienced Veterinary Assistants will return your pet to you so you can head home. Finally, the medical record from your visit will be sent to your primary care veterinarian so they are kept updated on your pet’s health.
